Hi. I'm Aryan Zaveri.
I'm 24, living in Mumbai, working as a Data Analyst. “Figuring out money” isn’t something I was taught.
Like most people in their early 20s, I stepped into the corporate world with a salary—but without a clear idea of what to do with it. Savings felt optional, investing felt complicated, and financial advice online felt either too technical or too unrealistic.
So I did what most of us do—I started figuring it out on my own.
It began in my final year of college, when I earned my first income. It wasn’t much, but it was enough to start asking better questions. I began with small steps—my first SIP, my first index fund, and a lot of trial and error. No big strategies. No perfect plan. Just learning as I went.
Today, at 24, I’m still on that journey.
This blog is where I document everything I’m learning about money—saving, investing, building discipline, and making smarter financial decisions in your 20s. The goal isn’t to sound like an expert. It’s to make finance simple, practical, and actually relatable.
Because the truth is—most of us aren’t trying to “beat the market.” We’re just trying to:
And that’s more than enough reason to start.
While this blog is primarily about finance, I’ll occasionally write about the other parts of being in your 20s—career decisions, learning curves, and the challenges that quietly shape how we deal with money in the first place. If you’re also figuring things out—your career, your finances, your next step—you’re in the right place.
No jargon. No pressure. Just progress, one step at a time.
What this blog is
- India-specific — every article is written for the Indian tax system, Indian investment products, and Indian salaries.
- For your 20s — not generic advice that applies to a 45-year-old with a paid-off home. The tradeoffs are different when you're young.
- Cited — every claim has a source. I link to SEBI, income tax department, AMFI, RBI — not random influencer tweets.
- Free of conflicts — I don't take sponsorships, affiliate commissions, or money from AMCs. My opinion isn't for sale.
What this blog is not
Financial advice. I'm a writer, not a SEBI-registered investment advisor. Everything here is informational. Please consult a qualified advisor before making investment decisions — especially for large amounts.
Publishing cadence
I publish 2 articles a month. Subscribers get each one in their inbox the day it goes live, plus occasional short notes when something relevant happens (budget announcements, new SEBI rules, etc.).
